PHENOMENAL WOMEN'S CONFERENCE - Each year, the Siegel Institute hosts a daylong conference welcoming women from the workplace and community, as well as student participants, giving them the opportunity to learn about ethical leadership issues, women's roles as leaders, and the challenges women face, both locally and around the globe. The conference draws women of all ages and backgrounds from metro Atlanta and northwest Georgia.
LUNCH AND A BOOK/MOVIE DISCUSSION SERIES - The Siegel Institute created the "Lunch and a Book or Movie " series of events to bring faculty, staff, and students together from the different disciplines on campus to discuss ethics and leadership in a collaborative fashion, informally over lunch or dinner. The Institute provides each participant with a complimentary DVD of the movie or copy of the book in advance, and provides a lunch or dinner for the entire group on the meeting date. This series began with three events in 2008 and, based on positive feedback from faculty and students, the Institute more than doubled the number of events to seven in 2011-2012.
